About my experience using blogs....

In the first time, to create this blog was very difficult for me. This moment was very bad. But then, I think it maked more and more easy to write in the time that I must. 

Sometimes I didn´t know what to write about topic that demanded me. In other situations was very easy to explain or to relate some history. I must say that it was very funny to read all the histories from my classmates. Sometimes they wrote interesting topics for example ethnomusicology, Michel Foucault or the places that they would like to visit.

I think this method helped me to improve my writting skills a lot. But I would have wanted to know in each post what thing I´m wrong about. Something like that I would like to include in other version of this activity. Because I think is very important to improve our mistakes during the semester. 

Other thing that I liked was that the variety of topics. Several times It maked me to think a lot, for example in the topic about our career, relate to our ambitions or the things that we would like to learn. 

In general term, I didn´t found something really bad. Only I think  the feedback each week could be a good change to include.

When I joined in the University, I didn`t know what to study, I liked many things in different areas. But I knew that I didn`t want to take a year off. Now I think that it was a very assertive choice. In the Bachillerato I knew the career that mixed all my different preferences for example History, Language, Social Problems, and even topics relatives to politics, health, inequality and injustice.

This career was the sociology; I felt that all the things that my teacher said it was very similar things that I have thought I love to analyze everything.

I felt very comfortable with the topics and the theories that propose, but it was very difficult to me to decide to study, because the pressure in my family. But I felt that it was the path that I must to follow, because I like so much to learn more and more about that; I like every subject, because I know that all will be useful in my professional development.   

Now I know more contributions by my career in the society, like a surveys for political programs or to know new phenomenon in the society that it affect at all in the country or continent. Besides pretend disclose some practices that it be so harm to the common people that believe that it must be in this way forever.

I think that is very important to be so reflexive, to be connected with the people and to left that the phenomenon touches you and motive to discover more about that. I know that I must to develop more my abilities to observe like a tool to show problems or many social orientations.

  

Something we must do!

The pollution is a very serious problem by the human race, sometimes we take so light but is very important to stop for example the emission of carbon dioxide. And to comunicate at next generations how important is to apply this three important advice: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle or the 3Rs refers about three very important words to practice when we want to decrease the global pollution. The first one refer about to produce a little trash if we can. The second one refer about to use again something that still in good conditions.The third one refer about to transform something in other thing that could be usefull yet.

About that, for exmaple I like to transform some clothes for to use again. Or I try to discard the trash with care because I like to make easier the job of people that collect it. Besides I prefer the fabric bag, because you could use in a lot of moments or you could wash it and use it again. With this I avoid to use plastic bag.

I think this topic is so relevant, because this is something that affect at all people in the world. Because all contribute to pollution and we have the opportunity to do something every day to reduce this effects with easy practices.

Things that I want to learn:

Inside the things that I would to learn there are to cook great meal, so taste. Because sometimes my boyfriend or my mom make everything and me only wash and cut the vegetables or I clean all the set of kitchen pots and pans. I would like to know how to cook so taste food easily and with chef talent.

Another thing that I want to learn is to drive a car, because it is very useful when one live so far or when we have an emergency. I remember when my dad tried to teach me, but he only angry with me when I can´t to move the car. In change, when my boyfriend taught me to move a car a little, it was very fun and exciting. 

Another thing that I would like to do is to take some singing lessions, like a choir. I really like to sing, but when I take a shower jajajajaja =). I´m very shy with this. My sister invited me to sing in a church but I don´t want to go to this place.

In another hand, there are something that I started to learn some years ago, to play guitar. But I stopped with this when the band that I had with my school´s friends finished. This band called Under Confess and was very difficult to play song that it was like for all the group. Sometimes I play guitar with my boyfriend, he is so gifted in this. 

I think we would must to follow practicing this activity together =)

My Ambitions:

Well, some ambition that I have is to travel around the world, maybe to Germany or England. I want to go to some metal concerts in its principal cities and obviously to visit a lot of traditional places that always we see on Tv. In other hand, I would like to visit places like Asia or  India too, but I think that could be difficult to getting on this places. I need learn more english ajsjajsja. This is something that I don`t worry so much, but I think it could be great to know others countries.

About my professional future, I don`t have a rigid plan, but I would like to work in some ministry or an organization like a ONG something like that. I know that it so important to think about this, but I prefer to feel that the present it so great, and I hope that the future will be same too. The only that I have clear is that I want to help to others with my profession. In other hand about my relations with my family and my boyfriend I hope that follow improve over the years. For me, this it`s the most important thing inside of my ambitions, to make better the life of my private circle. To give them love and support always. To fulfill this ambition would mean to make me feel so happy. And I would like to achieve it because this it is so important in the actually, to be near to family more than other things, I think.

Italian Food: Solé Mio.

Well, today I talk about some place where can to eat great food. This place called Solé Mio Restaurant and it is characterized for to cook italian food like a pizza, pasta and lasagne. It is located in Moneda 1818, Santiago.                        When we went at this place with the family of my boyfriend, we ate a variety of lasagne. Everybody ate "al pesto" lasagne but my mother in law ate cannellones. Everything were so taste. In general, the place is so beautiful because it located in an ancient house. And one of thing that I liked so much was that it mixed this style with modern design.For example while one ate could see the kitchen with large windows showing a lot of people cooking pastas, doughs and preparing differents dishes. I think that this way to show the cook´s process of food it was so creative. In other hand, the desserts were so delicious. These day we ate a dessert called crepes of apple with mix of ice-cream. So sense. I never I tasted this flavour.One thing that I liked so much was the atmosphere in this place it was so great  and the attention was so nice. This place could be a little expensive for our university spending money but with the "PAE money" we could enjoy it anyway.   

                        Action Research:

                     

 The next week I will talk about this type of rearch in the social science. I chose it because is an interesting  method to study social phenomenon linking to the studied people. To making that the people in the study  participating in all  research´s process, agree colectivelly the topic to study, and what are their expectations  about the rearch.

                   

 This method is interesting for me, because it define like a knowledge´s strategy that don`t pretend to hide its  politics interest and its revolutionary purpose. It born to criticize another dominating methods, like the  positivism and funtionalism. This methods had been imported from the european countries and form Unites  States, but don´t be useful for to describe specifics Latin American´s phenomenos, namely in the sixties and  seventies.

                   

 Some elements that I must include are its origin, its principal ideas and postules.Its relations with other    theories and epistemologies.

 Besides, its conception about the person in the study and its interest in the popular knowledge connect to  the scientific knowledge. All this, because its authors believe that it is possible to know the society with the  community´s  experience dialog with all theorical knowledge from academy.

                   

 I think that I will follow this structure to organize it.

Social Movements in Chili:

Some explications about  the low electoral´s participation in our country and together with this the  arise of the social movements could be explanied from politics theory´s  Schmitt.

This Author say that the politics´s concept include the notion about conflict necessarily. Because the divison between the friends and the enemies, is the principal characteristic of politics. This concept note the distance among the people from diferents countries or inside of own country.

From this situacion is possible to explain the role of the social movements like an actor that dispute the decisional power of the State about social orden and its organization. Besides this actor show  the ability of to be a real alternative and promoter of changes possible to realize. This situacion it turn in a potencial enemy of the State, making conflicts in our society. Arising the genuine politics activity.

In this way is possible to explain the low electoral´s participation. Because the feeling´s population is that the politicians couldn´t resolve our social´s problematics and they don´t represent common interest. For this reason the people choise don´t participe in the tradicional democratic´s process. This not meaning apolitical nature, only lack of trust in our poltics system and the option that we can defend our demands in a "informal way". . .

My favorite piece of technology is Mp3. I got it when I was fifteen years old. Every time I accepted things from my family and this occasion my brother gave me this music stereo, because he bought another more actual and it showed so good. I had an discman that it was unconfortable to carry.


I used this gadget for five years aproximately. I like so much to listen music in this music stereo, when I travelled to school or home. This journey were so long, but so amazing when the music come with me. Besides I could share my music with my friends, and this was fantastic!


Another caracteristic that I could say about this artefact is that it was bigger than another or tipycal Mp3.But I didn´t worry about this, because It can be able to receive so many albums. And was very easy to put or take out songs in this gadget.


When it lost its qualities, I left it for ever.I felt very sad, because it was a great system.


Anyway, this gadget allowed me to make more enjoyable my journey and listen to music when I wanted.I think that without it my travels have been more boring.

My favorite picture :)

It was taken in my summer holiday when with my boyfriend and his family went to a river in Corcolén. Our parents  told us that this river was very dangerous and so many people die here when they swimming in this place. But anyway we wanted visit it, because it was so beautiful place.

There were some horses around that crossed from one side to other easily. 

It was so funny. And obviously there were some kids with their parents, swimming and having a good time.

We took some pictures around river and in the suspension brigde. But the picture that I like so much was when my brother in law took us a picture with my boyfriend. It showed the river back and  the sunlight shine over us, this effect didn`t be planned. I liked it so much because the effect was very special and it showed that we were so happy here.

Another pictures was taken around this field, in general terms was a very varied place, because it mixed farm, horses, tradicional houses and many interestings habits.

In the 2009 I went to Valdivia, it was my first time in this place.

I travelled with my parents only and we hadn`t than this, because always we travel with my brother and sister. So this was very funny. 

The travel wasn`t planificated. With my mother think that could be so great to travel at south of Chile and my father integrated then at the last time.

We travelled in bus and  we arrived at the place in the night. Without accomodation, we walked around the streets and we saw that we were in the middle of "Valdiviana week". In this tradicional festival so many people showed their boats with funny accesories and lights.

Then to enjoy this festival, we walked to looking for accomodation, but nobody had rooms. We were so worried but some guys said  that they could gave us some duvets and we could put them in their living room.

Then this situacion, we visited a lot of places like parks, lagoons, lakes and historical places. We boarded a boat and we saw so beatiful vegetation and archictecture around. Another day we crossed from one island to the other. It was so horrific, because the waves were so strong and we thought that we submerged.

But the most thing that I liked was when we swam in a river with my father. 

My biography:

I´m Catherine, I´m 21 years old and  live in Batuco with my parents.
I started study in this University three years ago, when I didn´t know what to study.
In the bachillerato´s program I found my vocation when I knew some things about sociology and I like so much all relative about social phenomenon.
This journey taught me that sometimes the things show us difficult or complex but all problem have a solution.
I really like my carrer, in this years I learnt so many things about social theories, critical history about social process in our country and the world, and methodologies appropiated for each social phenomenon.
Further, I have knew friendly people that make me feel so great in this place. With this guys I investigated some topics about education, female participation and other interesting topics. And obviously sometimes we play taca- taca or voleiball.
